Welcome to Photoville!

While visiting our photographic village, please remember that we are guests in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

We’ll make every effort to keep the park and festival grounds clean and safe throughout the weekend and we hope you’ll do the same, so please help our staff by depositing all litter in the trash cans. Because a clean village is a happy village.

Please note that alcoholic beverages, outside food, glass bottles, coolers, and weapons are not allowed in Photoville. You are welcome to bring water and small snacks.

All alcoholic beverages must be consumed within the Photoville Beer Garden.

Is Photoville easy to get to?
Yes! Centrally located in the middle of Brooklyn Bridge Park. Please check our direction page for instructions to reach Photoville by bus, subway, walking, bike, and by sea with our partner, NY Waterway's East River Ferry.

Is There a ticket charge?
No! All Events are open to the public and free of charge. Food and beverages will be available for sale through a variety of artisanal food vendors.

Are there bathroom facilities?
Yes, portable bathroom and hand washing stations are available. Brooklyn Bridge Park also has clearly marked facilities at the Park's entrance at Pier 1.

Where can I find Photoville's schedule of activities and the hours of operation?
Information will be posted throughout the park, at our Hospitality Tent (located at the main entrance), and on this very web site.

Bikes
We love it when your go green! Please ride your bike. We have bike racks in Photoville waiting for you. See map for locations. Remember to wear your helmet!

Food and Beverages
We've got you covered! Photoville will have its own beer garden and food vendors, serving a variety of beverages and specialty food.

Wheelchairs
All areas of Photoville are wheelchair accessible, but please keep in mind that this is a large venue with some distances separating attractions.

Anyone with a disability who needs assistance or help in any way should contact a Photoville staff member who will radio for assistance right away.

Photoville Dog Run
Big dogs, small dogs, we have a place for each and every one of you in Photoville.

Rules of the dog park:

  • Be Responsible.

  • Users of the dog park do so at their own risk.

  • No children under 12 without accompanied by an adult.

  • Do not leave your dog alone or unattended in the dog park.

  • Leash and remove dogs from the dog park that behave in an aggressive or annoying manner.

  • Dogs involved in a fight must be separated immediately and removed from the park, regardless of which dog provoked the confrontation.

  • You are responsible for supervising your dog at all times.

  • Maximum 3 dogs per person.

  • Dogs with known contagious medical conditions are not allowed in the dog park.

  • Always clean up after your dog. If someone points out that your dog has defecated, thank them and immediately pick it up.

  • Clean up after yourself. Do not leave litter in the park. If you groom your dog in the park, pick up all hair.

  • No female dogs in heat allowed in the park.

  • Remove prong and spike collars from dogs while in the dog park. These collars can injure other dogs at play.

  • Do not allow your dog to run free while still wearing its leash in the dog park. This is dangerous to your dog, to other dogs, and to people.

  • Dogs in the dog park must be properly vaccinated and licensed; tags should be visible.

  • Puppies must have their full course of vaccines before using the park. Don't bring puppies under 4 months old to the park.

  • Always exercise caution with food and dog toys in the park.

Weather
Unless it's a dangerous downpour or storm, Photoville will be open.

ATM machines are located throughout the adjacent neighborhoods of DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights. Please visit our Hospitality Tent or consult a local map for locations.
